Stephanie Alexander, Director of Operations
Stephanie is from Stone Mountain, GA, growing up in Lilburn GA. Her passion for the Middle East grew from a trip to London back in 2004. It was a trip that changed her life and her heart for the nations. During college, she didn't do much in regarding the nations or going back overseas. She was focusing on her studies. After graduating from Berry College with a degree in Family Studies, Stephanie searched and prayed for a way to use her education and life skills to serve people. She has known Denise Smith for over 20 years and began helping with Peace of Thread behind the scenes while working a corporate job full-time. God released Stephanie from her corporate job in December of 2014 which has allowed her to join Smith full-time to love and serve beautiful refugee families in Clarkston, GA.
Stephanie has also had the opportunity to travel to Jordan where she worked with the Syrian refugees by doing house visits, and distribution of food and supplies. It opened her eyes to see the other side of refugee life before they land in the U.S.
She serves as the Director of Operations. She works hard to help give these women and their families a hope and a future while they are creating their new lives here in the U.S.
Stephanie resides in Ninety Six, South Carolina with her husband, John. When she is not working, she enjoys kayaking, antiquing with her husband, or reading a good book.
