the easy part is preparing their food. the hard part is sharing their stories. the media wants us to be enemies. but we're preparing plates of peace. we're choosing friendship over fear. and food over fighting. there is a seat at the table for you. please join us to empower, advocate for, and befriend refugee women. because every woman deserves dignity, value, and a voice.
come and dine with refugee artisan threaders from afghanistan, iraq, myanmar, nepal, and ukraine. hear their stories. enjoy a virtual silent auction, a concert, and a gathering of friends united in their desire to welcome and learn from resilient and courageous families who are rebuilding their lives, one meal at a time.
gather at 6pm and travel through 4 different spaces, smelling the aromas and tasting the plates prepared with hands that long for peace and possibility. the evening will end by 9pm.
